Run the full daily pipeline (whole list)
Generate now runs the complete DAILY briefing pipeline immediately and (if the kill-switch is ENABLED and mode is send) emails it to the whole distribution list. Generate (tropical full-suite) does the same plus the tropical page. These honor the kill-switch and send/dry-run mode above — use them for a real, list-wide run. To send a single product to one person, use the card below.
Generate now → send to one person
Sends one product to one person immediately — always sends (bypasses the kill-switch and send/dry-run mode). Pick an existing recipient or choose Ad-hoc… to type any address. The daily briefing reuses today's already-generated briefing (no new AI call); the standalone briefings generate fresh on send. Use for a one-off; the distribution list governs scheduled sends.
AFD evolution report
Builds a PDF of how the NWS New York (OKX) Area Forecast Discussion progressed over the window — trend, PWAT track, and every discussion's synopsis — from retained snapshots plus the NWS archive. The report is date-granular. Leave Send to on “Distribution list” to email subscribers (honors the send/dry-run mode); pick a person to route this one report to them. Max 92 days.
Post-Event Weather Summary
Compares the forecast/warnings vs what was observed (ASOS + Mesonet/Micronet rain & gusts, CO-OPS coastal, SPC/AFD severe signal, NWS storm reports) — per-hazard Hit / Miss / False-alarm + magnitude delta, a forecast-vs-observed rainfall comparison, NWS product activity (counts + timeline), and notable observations. Leave end blank for a single-day summary. Emailed to subscribers. Pending suggestions appear above when the detector flags an event.
Distribution list — product subscriptions
Pick a recipient on the left, then flip the subscription toggles on the right: 6 AM / 4 PM = those daily-briefing editions · Instant = NWS Warning/Watch alerts · Tropical / Coastal / Winter / Heat / Post-event = those standalone briefings · SMS = critical text alerts (needs a phone). Edit the name, add several phone numbers (SMS goes to all of them). Changes save immediately (Saved ✓). While SES is in sandbox each email must also be verified in SES to receive mail.

Every send (daily, tropical, coastal, winter, heat, instant NWS alerts, surprise-heat, AFD, post-event summary, and one-off send-now) records here in real time — newest first. “Backfill from logs” is a one-time, best-effort scan of recent sender CloudWatch logs to seed older sends; real-time entries are authoritative going forward.
